    4. Be ready to learn.

    Classroom Agreements (Rules):

In Mrs. Daniels’s class, every student will have an equal opportunity to become successful academically. To ensure the classroom is conducive to learning through virtual and face-to-face instruction, we will establish the C.H.A.M.P.S concept:

C– Conversation: Listen attentively and only use appropriate language

H– Help: Raise your hand and wait to speak.

A– Activity: Always follow directions the first time.

M– Movement: Always keep hands and feet to yourself.

P– Participation: Actively listening and raising hand to speak

S– Signal: Our signal to quiet down and give your attention is the “High Five” hand raised.

By honoring these agreements, students will be CHAMPS in the classroom!

Weekly Rewards & Consequences for Behavior:

Students will be able to earn stars for honoring the classroom agreements on a daily basis. Once a student has

earned a set number of stars, he/she will earn a reward.

    • If the violation warrants, the consequences may be changed accordingly.
    • Please note that these rules and consequences are in addition to the rules and consequences specified in the District Code of Conduct.

     Late Work/Absent Work:

In case of unforeseen circumstances (ex: illness, inclement weather, ISS, OSS, field trip, absent, etc.) the student is solely responsible for requesting missed assignments and submitting assignments. All late work must be submitted within five days of the original due date in order for students to receive credit. Any assignment turned in after five days will have points deducted each day if it is late.
